VPN Stinks, etc.

I'm working at home this afternoon because daycare is closed due to it being the owner's son's birthday. He is 1 today. Happy Birthday, JJ!!

But the VPN is incredibly slow so I'm doing some social things on the home computer while I wait for files to open. How's that for multitasking?

Does anyone have any good tips or tricks for organizing photos??? I have a ton, and I don't know where to begin.

no clue... I have a lot of friends who like picasa... but not sure if they have an off-line version

note: Melissa inspired me to write this list; and as it turns out, we have many goals in common!

1. Go on a road trip to at least 8 different states

2. Take the kids to Sesame Place

3. Make ice cream from scratch

4. Make a custom recipe book

5. Leave an inspirational note inside a book for someone to find

6. Visit the San Diego Zoo

7. ~~Keep my car clean for a whole month~~

8. Attend a murder mystery night

9. Work my way through an entire cookbook (a la Julie & Julia)

10. ~~Create or go on a scavenger hunt~~

11. Shop at a farmer's market

12. Attend a live taping of a TV show

13. ~~Get rid of all the clutter in the spare room~~

14. Visit Hershey Park with the family and get a picture taken with a big chocolate bar

15. ~~Switch to skim milk in coffee…permanently~~

16. Mow the lawn

17. ~~Read “The Catcher in the Rye”~~

18. No takeout for a month (including DD coffee!)

19. Keep nails polish free for 2 weeks – without picking at them!

20. Visit a butterfly garden with my daughter

21. Complete a coloring book

22. Send anonymous flowers (or cookies) to someone who is having a tough day

82. get a picture of everyone together on Mark’s side of the family

83. completely redo my file cabinets at work

84. for one day, smile and wave at everyone who looks at me while I'm driving

85. ~~update/consolidate my address list in Excel to make life easier when sending out Christmas cards, invitations, etc~~

86. Girls only weekend

91. make a trip to Sonic, and have one of those slushy drinks I always see on the commercials

92. buy 10 greeting cards and send them to friends for no reason

93. next time we’re down South, eat chicken and waffles

94. get an ipod or MP3 player and transfer all my favorite songs from the CD’s that are sitting in the closet onto it. Then sell or donate them.

95. Take a trip to Spain with my family

96. learn a magic trick and show to all my friends

97. write a children’s book and make copies of it for all the kids in my life

98. ~~do something anonymously for someone experiencing financial hardship~~

99. ~~Do "Dream Dinners" to make my life easier for a month~~
